Our kid’s swimming program teaches kids ages 2 to 8 to start swimming with confidence under the guidance of our friendly, experienced instructors. Frank’s Swim School has been running our kid’s swimming program since 1968 in the safety of our specialized indoor teaching pool. In that time, we’ve helped countless children learn to start swimming independently and discover a lifelong love for the water!

In our beginner swimming lessons, your child will learn the following:
The student-to-instructor ratio is 3:1.
Preschool levels A to E are beginner swimmers. Detailed main challenges per level are
specified in our Learning Progression section.
In general, beginner swimmers will be learning the basics of submersion, body positioning, underwater exhalation, arm and movement to be in condition to learn front crawl and back crawl.
Yes. Level D is usually the most difficult one, as the swimmer must start swimming front crawl independently with no assistance and full arm recovery (no side breathing).
Kodiak Pool is better for swimmers aged 2 to 6, while Havergal Pool is better for swimmers between ages 5 and 8. This is due to safety reasons, pool size, and water temperature. In case of any doubts, please reach out to us by phone or email.
Yes. Depending on your child’s age, we will have a different approach to overcome this fear. The earlier your child learns how to swim, the better.
During our beginner lessons, we will be focusing first on teaching the foundations for effective front crawl and back crawl strokes. Visit our intermediate program to better understand what’s next.
