Registration Policy

Application Submission:

All participants must complete the registration form provided by Frank’s Swim School. The form should include personal information, emergency contacts, health details, and any relevant medical conditions or allergies. Submission can be done either online via our website or in person.

 

Confirmation:

Upon successful submission of the registration form, participants will receive a confirmation email or notification confirming their enrollment. This confirmation will include details such as class schedule, fees, and any additional information necessary for the swimming sessions.

Attendance and Participation

• Regular attendance is encouraged and expected. Participants are responsible for attending classes punctually.

• Participants are required to inform the swimming school in case of absence due to illness or any other unavoidable
  circumstances.

• All participants are expected to adhere to the school’s code of conduct, promoting a positive and respectful learning
  environment.

• Any disruptive behaviour may result in disciplinary action or dismissal from the program, as deemed necessary by the
  school authorities.
   

Health and Safety

• Participants must inform the swimming school of any behavioural or relevant health conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect their participation in the classes.

• The swimming school will maintain safety protocols and guidelines in accordance with recognized safety standards.

• Lifeguards and instructors will be present during classes to ensure participant safety.
   

Make-up Policy 

• Please try to attend all your classes. It may not be possible to always make up missed classes.

• Unfortunately, we are not able to offer makeup classes for special programs (Parent & Tot, Private or Semi-Private classes,
  Bronze Awards, Swim Team, Instructor and National Lifeguard)

• Please let us know in advance if you will miss your classes and if you have more than one child, please bring the other child
  if they do not need to miss the class.

• Max. 2 makeup classes per child per session if space is available. If you already know that you must miss a class during the
  session, please give us the date and you may try to make up ahead of time.

• Semi-private classes that would like a makeup class may only be able to do a regular ratio makeup.

• Booked makeup classes whether the child attends or not are considered taken.

• Classes missed are not carried to the next session.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

You can cancel your registration at any time before the session starts,

​

• No fees if the cancellation is done before the due date on your invoice (which is 3 or 4 weeks in advance before the session starts).

• We will charge you the registration fee if the cancellation is done less than 3 weeks before the session starts.

 

Once the session starts, there are no refunds. Special cases will be evaluated by the management team. Any possible partial refunds are decided on a case-by-case basis.

Use of Change Rooms at Havergal Pool

Reminder to families to not have boys changing in the Girls Change Room or girls changing in Boys Change Room.

The family change room with 3 private change cubicles (just before the separate change rooms) is available for mothers that need to assist their boys (or fathers that need to assist their daughters).

As a courtesy please remove your belongings from the change cubicle to make them clear for other families and place them in either the lockers, just inside the doors of the Girls or Boys Change Room or with you in the viewing gallery. 

For families that want to shower before using the family change room they may come along the deck with their child to enter and exit the showers to avoid them entering the girls change room.

 

For those parents using the Family Change Room, there are also washrooms on the other side of the Family Change Room, next to the stairwell.
