When it comes to swimming schools in North York and Toronto, Frank’s Swim School Ltd is the trusted name in swimming lessons for kids of all ages. Frank’s Swim School is the oldest privately run swimming school for children and families in North York. We’ve been teaching kids to swim for over 56 years, and we’re proud to be recognized as an educational institution by the Government of Ontario.
Our school was founded in 1968 by Frank Liebmann, and is currently operated by his son, Michael Liebmann. We’re committed to providing our students with the best possible swimming experience, and we’re an integral part of the community.

Frank’s Swim School clients get a discount at Human Moves Day Camp & Soccer Program. Our partner company (under same ownership as Frank’s Swim School), Human Moves, offers a variety of programs for children 4 to 14 years old, such as a Summer Camp, March Break, Soccer Program, and more!
We are affiliated with the Lifesaving Society and use the Lifesaving Awards and Swim Award System, the most widely used in Canada.
The skills required to receive a swimming award are very demanding. However, at Frank’s Swim School, we help children bridge the gap where necessary to ensure that every child gets their badge.
Frank’s half badges are designed to always have a reward of a badge when a student is not able to totally complete a level to encourage and show that the student is partway through the appropriate level.
Frank’s Swim School clients can book up to 2 make-up lessons per session for a day and time slot that is available for their child, considering their target level.
This applies only to our regular lessons for Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Patrol Awards. Special programs (Parent & Child, Bronze Awards, Swim Team, and National Lifeguard & Swim Instructor) don’t have a make-up policy.
